The BEST Chocolate Brownies

This delicious recipe is a huge hit in our house, the brownies barely have chance to cool down before they disappear..... 


275g Plain Chocolate

275g Butter

85g Milk Chocolate

85g White Chocolate

325g Caster Sugar

175g Plain Flour

5 Medium Eggs

1 TSP Vanilla Extract


1*  Preheat the oven to 170c / 325f / Gas mark 3

2*  Line a brownie tin with greaseproof paper

3*  Put the butter and plain chocolate in a bowl over boiling water and melt.

4*  Pop the flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl and set aside. Remove chocolate from heat and stir in the sugar.

5*  Add the eggs and vanilla extract and fold in the flour.

6*  Chop up the milk chocolate and white chocolate into chunks and add to the mixture.

7*  Pour the mixture into the tin and pop in the oven for about 30-40 minutes. The brownie should be firm to the touch but soft inside.

*8  Leave to cool down in the tin before removing and cutting into squares.
