My middle son Max is 11, so I wanted to give his room a makeover that wasn't too babyish but still fun.
Max loves the idea of map wallpaper, so working around that I made this mood board.
The colours are lovely. Working with my usual tight budget we found the perfect wallpaper in The Range. We only needed 4 rolls to do the 3 walls, and I used a grey paint for the 4th.
It looks beautiful.
The bedding was from Asda Living. The quality is lovely and the selection is soooo good. Brilliant price too!
Accessories were bought from B&Q and tie the room together perfectly.
This little shelf was found in the charity shop and I painted it cream with a tester pot!
Stay Weird Picture from Asda Living too.
Max is so happy with his new room and I'm really pleased with how it looks. Also the fact that he makes his bed now in the morning, even with the throws and cushions makes it all worth the effort!
What ideas have you had for pre teen bedrooms?
